Bio
Briana Stevens, also known as YUNG BRIE-Z, is proud to bring her Midwest
talent to the world. From a young age, YUNG BRIE-Z has always known that
people need to be true to themselves and to others. This conviction led her
to turn her face to God, and she was baptized at the age of eight. YUNG
BRIE-Z believes that her talent comes from God, but the inspiration for her
art comes from the state of the world and popular culture. Musical
expression has always come easily to YUNG BRIE-Z. She has practiced and
played the saxophone, tuba, and trombone under guided instruction, and
later taught herself bass guitar, keyboard, and drums. However, learning to
play all of these instruments was only the gateway to her real talent:
matching lyrics to beats and rapping them with her unique, aggressive
style. Since realizing her abilities, she has edited and recorded her
original lyrics on her own CDs. YUNG BRIE-Z attended the International
College of Broadcasting in Dayton, Ohio, where she graduated with an
Associate’s Degree in Audio
