An artist out of the underground Southwest scene of southern New Mexico,
Wicked 1 is a product of the old school. Growing up on artists from
Sugarhill Gang, to Erik B. and Rakim, to The G-Funk Era, music has been a
strong influence as well as a family trait. Born and raised in The City Of
Crosses, Las Cruces, NM, the hip hop scene wasn't too hot in the early and
mid-nineties, but he kept with it. Writing rhymes since the age of 11, the
love for Hip Hop has been deep for him. The youngest of 3 boys and 1 girl,
he was humbled early in life by a single mother working 3 jobs. Life hasn't
always been easy, but that's just meant more writing material. A strong
family upbringing, close friends, and a genetic love for music have given
him a true appreciation for life, love and music. Every song is done from
the heart and written for you. Always clean and always true to self, the
sound has a bit of old school flava in it. Whether it leads to fame or not
is irrelevant. His heart is in his music, and its for you. Enjoy
