Who is Acknight? Acknight was born in monrovia Liberia. At the young age of
5, Brooklyn became his new home but only for a short time. After a few
years he relocated to Providence, Rhode Island. During this time, Acknight
took to the street, dabbling here and there in what we would call the fast
life. Not having any family residing in the states, Acknight was left to
fend for himself. His way of coping became his way of life - Music. Many
days music was all he had. Friends were becoming foes, the street life was
getting old; but what never seemed to fore seek him was his music.
Eventually, the street life caught up with Ack. After being locked up for
some time, upon his release he finished school and relocated to Florida in
which he still resides. This is where he made up his mind that music would
change his life. Ack remembers how music would made him feel when during
the many times he experienced strife and heartbreaks. From songs telling
him it will be alright to others who made him feel someone out there would
truly love him one day. Regardless of what life brought his way, music was
